FTP Accounts
In cPanel, you can easily manage FTP accounts. To change passwords, access the FTP Accounts tool, select the account, and update the password. For adjusting disk space quotas, follow a similar process by changing the quota setting.
To remove an FTP user account, access cPanel > FTP Accounts > Delete. Choose to delete the user's home directory for files removal. Proceed with caution as deleting the home directory will erase all data. Only delete the account first if unsure.
To upload web files using an FTP client, access your Doteasy Member Zone for login credentials. Use cPanel's Configure FTP Client tool for seamless setup with FileZilla, CoreFTP, or Cyberduck. Manually configure other FTP clients; find detailed instructions in our Getting Started library.
To create FTP accounts on Doteasy hosting, access cPanel, fill in user details, set directory levels, and limit user space. Then, connect using host, full user, password, and port 21 for secure file management.
