Creating a database user in cPanel

Click Manage My Databases under Databases in cPanel.

Under Users > Add New User, enter the MariaDB username in the Username text box.

In the Password text box, enter the user password.
In the Password (Again) text box, retype the user password.
When ready, click Create User.

Once you have added the new user, it will be added to the Current Users table.

Next step: You will need to add the user to a database.

Adding user to a database in cPanel

To add a MariaDB user to a database, go to Manage My Databases in cPanel. Choose the user and database, grant privileges, then click Add and Make Changes. The user will now be listed in the Current Databases table.
