Types of Partial Backups

There are three types of partial backups you can perform:

cPanel backup wizard partial backup

Home Directory – this partial backup includes all the files and data within your home directory, including the public_html folder.

Databases – this partial backup includes all MariaDB databases associated with your account.

Email Forwarders & Filters – this partial backup includes the configuration for all email forwarders and account-level email filters created for your domain name. This backup does not include any user-level filters.

Full Backup using Backup Wizard

To create a full backup of your cPanel account, click on the ''Backup Wizard'' icon, then select ''Backup Up'' to start. Choose ''Full Backup'' and select a destination. Enter your email if you wish to receive notifications, then click ''Generate Backup''. Download the backup file once completed.
