Backup Wizard

To create a partial backup of your home directory, access the Backup Wizard in cPanel. Select the Home Directory option and start the backup process. Remember, this includes all files and data in your home directory, like the public_html folder.

When restoring from a full backup in cPanel, decompress the file and restore specific website parts. Be cautious of server files within the backup and refer to the guide for safe restoration.

There are three types of partial backups you can perform: Home Directory, MySQL Databases, and Email Forwarders & Filters. Each type includes specific data essential for safeguarding your files, databases, and email configurations.

To create a full backup of your cPanel account, click on the ''Backup Wizard'' icon, then select ''Backup Up'' to start. Choose ''Full Backup'' and select a destination. Enter your email if you wish to receive notifications, then click ''Generate Backup''. Download the backup file once completed.

To backup email forwarders and filters using cPanel, first, click on ''Backup Wizard'' icon. Then, click on ''Backup''. Under 'Select Partial Backup', choose ''Email Forwarders and Filters''. Select the specific domain or system filter. After completion, download the backup file to your computer.

To back up MySQL databases in cPanel, access the Backup Wizard, choose Backup, select Partial Backup, then MySQL Databases. Download the .sql.gz file of your database for safekeeping on your local computer.
