Modifying Addon Domain’s DNS records in cPanel
To add a TXT record for your addon domain in cPanel, go to Zone Editor, locate the domain, click Manage, then Add Record. Choose TXT from Type, fill in Name and Record fields, and click Add Record when done.
To delete a zone file record in cPanel, access the Zone Editor under Domains. Locate the addon domain name in the table, click Manage, find the record in Zone Records, and select Delete. Confirm by clicking Delete, but beware of potential site and email disruptions.
To add a CNAME record in cPanel, navigate to Zone Editor, select the domain, click + CNAME Record, enter the host name and domain, then click Add.
